As a well-established business of 25 years’ standing, A4 Plus is driven by a continued desire to expand and diversify. The key skills we feel would be beneficial to the role of Project Engineer include:
• 3D / 2D CAD capabilities; essential SolidWorks and/or Inventor, AutoCAD. Desirable – Creo
• Experience in Mechanical Design or Design Engineering, with detailing experience in industrial equipment or consumer product manufacture
• Ability to generate, amend and read Engineering/Technical Drawings
• Previous management experience of small/large design projects
• Ability to identify and communicate concerns from an engineering perspective, including identifying and progressing alternative options
• Confident and effective communication skills, both verbal and written
• Keen commercial awareness
• Excellent attention to detail, including ability to self-check work
• Effective project and time management skills
• Ability to work to recognised standards, i.e. ISO 9001:2008

You’ll need to be IT literate in the use of E-mails, Internet and Microsoft office; have the ability to work as part of a team as well as independently; be customer focused and able to work under pressure, with proven problem solving skills and ideally have a qualification in some form of engineering.

This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference and see your personal efforts generate business growth and share in the rewards that such growth can bring.
