Manufacturing Team Leader

We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Team Leader to work in this physical

Role in our Tables Production Department. You will be leading and working

alongside operators producing high volume and quality work, ensuring they are

working to the latest SOPs and that daily machine maintenance checks are being

processed.

You will communicate clearly both with your peers and the Shift Supervisor to

ensure continuous flow of WIP and demonstrate a strong commitment to

continuous process improvement, involving yourself closely with ongoing projects

and driving the implementation of improvement ideas put forward by team

members, and strategies laid out by leadership.

Your Responsibilities

• Leading an allocated team to achieve scheduled manufacturing targets

• Continually drive cross-training and development of your team members to

improve quality, output and increase flexibility within the work area

• Support and drive problem solving and quality/process/performance

improvement

• Maintaining high levels of attention to detail at all times, recording and

communicating accurate technical measurements and readings

• Participate in recruitment and performance management processes

Essential Requirements and Qualifications

• Strong people and leadership skills, with the ability to train and mentor

colleagues

• A practical ‘hands on’ approach with several years’ experience in a

manufacturing environment

• Ability to interpret, follow and train operators to Standard Operating

Procedures

• High level of mechanical aptitude and attention to detail with the ability to

maintain focus

• Proven ability to identify and resolve problems quickly and work effectively in a

team environment

Working Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm and Friday 7:30am to 12:30pm

Production- Manufacturing Team leader (First Shift) MB x 1

Hours of Work: Monday-Thursday 6am-2:30pm and Friday 6am-1pm

Salary: £13.60

Production- Manufacturing Team Leader (Second Shift) x 2

Hours of Work: Monday to Thursday 2:25pm to 10:55pm and Fridays 12:55pm to 7:55pm

Salary: £13.60 + 15% Shift Premium
