Revision Recruitment

Salary: £26,000 – £30,264 per year

Revision Recruitment are proud to have been retained as the sole agency to represent this truly impressive and highly regarded brand.
With a product range widely considered to be some of the best equipment available, they have quietly continued growing at their Cambridgeshire based facility, and its this growth, coupled with a strong global order book, which has prompted them to invest in hiring a new Production Supervisor for the site.

As Production Supervisor you will work closely with the Production Manager in ensuring the company meets its daily, weekly and monthly production targets, which are set by sales orders raised on a daily basis. Using your background in scheduling, kitting and production assembly processes, you will lead your team to produce a high value/low volume product which is sought after by collectors and enthusiasts around the world.

Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

– Operating in all facets of the production process in a ‘hands on’ capacity
– Plan production based on customer build requirements, adjusting labour and machine capacity to suit
– Manage SMT and Conventional Assembly teams to ensure products are built to the required standards and on schedule
– Manage Engineering and Mechanical Assembly teams to ensure products are built to the required standards and on schedule
– Making suggestions and recommendations to the board on improvements to existing processes and work methods
– Use the companies MRP/Sage systems to keep track of the full production lifecycle, alerting other departments (purchasing, sales, management) of impending issues or availability

Ideally you will already be performing at a Team Leader or Supervisory level, within a multi process electro-mechanical assembly environment. Qualified to at least HND, C&G or Degree in an engineering discipline is preferred, but not essential as experience of the sector and type of role is more applicable. What is certainly required is experience in a wide variety of production and electronic processes – SMT, Electro-Mechanical Assembly, Instrument Assembly and Soldering/Wiring.

With the Production Manager expecting to retire over the next year, the successful candidate will be given every opportunity to grow with the business, shadowing the manager in the hope that you assume his role in the future.

My client offer a good salary and welcome applicants from ambitious individuals who want to help the business achieve its growth plans for 2021/2022 and beyond.
