Salary: £27,000 – £30,000 per year
Our client is well respected market leader within the high risk sector of the food industry. They are a multi site organisation with a national and international presence, based in the East Midlands.
As a member of the Operations team, the Production Supervisor will have full responsibility for leading the operations team, in their specific unit, to achieve all targets set out by the Production Manager.
The role will be crucial in supporting the Production Manager, by managing a specific area team, in achieving profit and maximum performance within a fast paced manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the day to day running of the line, including continuous improvement, health and safety, efficiency, training, quality and people management.
The ideal candidate will have a good standard of education and also come from a strong leadership/supervisory background within a manufacturing environment. Must be computer literate as well as possessing strong communication skills.
Educated to NVQ or equivalent, around at least 2 years experience within the Food or FMCG industry is desirable.
