Job Position: Production Supervisor ( Paint Shop )

Department: Paint Shop

Reporting to: Production Manager

Status: Permanent

Job Profile: The role of the supervisor is critical to the Plant’s success in terms of actively leading a production team to continuously improve its production, safety, quality and cost performance.

Essential Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

You must be experienced in leading a team, whether from a Team Leader or Supervisor position.

You must have knowledge in Manufacturing and Paint shop principles.

You must have an understanding of the car build or similar process.

You must have a high level of proven self-motivation and a desire to continuously improve

You will have excellent problem solving and planning skills

Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to lead and motivate others

A high level of flexibility is essential.

Role and Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for planning and supervising of the Paint Unit within this Automotive manufacturer.

These challenging requirements are added to by the constant need to drive for increased standards of 5S, training, and attendance and the need to consistently apply works rules and procedures.

Basic Hours: 7:30am to 4:15pm Monday to Thursday. 7:30 am to 12:00 Fridays

Salary/Rate: Up to £42,000 per annum depending on previous experience and relevance to the job specification, plus bonus, pension, holiday, etc.
