Salary: £48,000 – £55,200 per year

Production Planner

Inspire Resourcing are currently recruiting a Production Planner for our well established client in Chesterfield.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a market leading business with the opportunity to play a huge part in the day to day operations of the business. 

Main Duties:

· Take ownership and plan the production profile on a daily and weekly basis ensuring the optimization of the operation from processing to finishing and through to despatch.

· Create a daily production schedule ensuring all key products are available to satisfy customer’s promises.

· Work with the site team to ensure that all customer requirements are produced and supplied on time and in full.

· Engage with all key stakeholders to deliver improvements in cost and the efficiency of the site.

· As part of the management team, work closely with the senior management team on site, delivering continuous improvement and compliance to IMS.

· Evaluate and improve performance through KPIs.

· Responsible for the procurement and control of all materials and components and other key materials.

· Work closely with the Finance and IT departments and commercial teams.

About You:

· Experience of working within a similar metals fabrications numerical role is preferred.

· Strong knowledge of MS office is essential, especially with Excel.

· Excellent numeracy & literacy skills.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Able to work in a busy working environment whilst managing own workload.

· Ability to work both in a team and as an individual.

· Enthusiastic and passionate with strong self-management skills.

· The ability to use initiative and manage your time effectively.

The package:

· Salary generous 40-46K (depending on experience)
