Production Planner

Salary: £31,200 per year

Production Planner with ambition and proven experience within manufacturing required for expanding market leading company based in East Ipswich. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and releasing planned production orders across a number of production lines, giving information on delivery lead times and managing data to enable the procurement department to procure with confidence.

The role will involve:

• Ensuring parts and capacity availability and their accordance with agreed master schedules
• Communicating delivery lead times to Sales
• Compiling, checking and maintaining materials master data for new and existing products
• Maintaining order schedules
• Providing accurate delivery forecasts and manpower plans.
• Participating actively in continuous process improvement projects, seek ways to develop and maximise customer service levels

Applicants must have previous production planning experience, ideally with knowledge of SAP.

Proficient IT skills including Excel are also required with strong numeracy and good attention to detail essential.
