About the Job:
Due to rapid expansion we are actively seeking production operators to start as soon as possible. The role includes ensuring smooth process on the production line. The process includes the delivery of glass as a raw product, where it will be designed, cut, toughened and produced for a customer through our state-of-the-art factories.
So the successful candidate will spend up to 4 weeks on the day shift for training which will be Monday-Friday 0600-1400.
Shifts:
The shifts available are as follows:
Nights = Sunday – Thursday = 22:00-06:00
The Candidate:
The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate manual handling techniques, and must have or be willing to expand knowledge of working with glass in a manufacturing environment. They will have desire to become competent on all aspects of the production line.
They must have good organisational skills to ensure that all orders are correct and minimalise errors or damage. They must be able to work as part of a team environment but will be able to work individually when required.
They will have excellent eye for detail as they will be required to inspect the quality of glass as it passes through the production line, being able to spot scratches, damage or imperfections in the glass.
