Production Operative

Salary: £26,000 – £28,294.5 per year

Premier Work Support are excited to be recruiting for Production operatives for one of our prestigious fast growing manufacturing clients based in Dorking.

This is a temporary position but for the right candidate, with good attendance and working attitude, this could lead to a permanent role.

Some of the duties and key responsibilities are:

• Ability to operate semi-automatic moulding machines, in special working environment’s such as, clean rooms, low humidity and static free rooms (PPE will be required and provided).
• To carry out foil printing of components using semi-automatic machine processing.
• To pack and label assemblies, carry out process checks and report any specific corrections required, this may involve heavy lifting of 50lbs and standing for long periods of time.
• Ability to carry out administrative tasks from time to time when requested.

The ideal candidates will have a positive mindset, strong work ethic, organisational skills, integrity and reliability. Manufacturing experience would be advantageous but full training will be provided.

Candidates will need to have own mode of transport as public transport is extremely limited the site location.

The shifts will be on a rolling rosta of 4 days on 4 days off including weekends for either day or night shift. The hours of work are:

Day shift – 06.00 – 18.00
Night shift – 18.00 – 06.00
