Salary: £26,000 per year
Our client designs and manufactures components for clients in the oil/gas, petro chemical, automotive and aerospace industries.
The role will involve working within the slip casting department and duties will involve making up powder and slip batches, online quality checks, reworking reclaim material, mould making, casting, fettling, research and design.
Knowledge of science subjects, although not a prerequisite, would be beneficial for the online testing requirements. Some operations are physically demanding. There is also the possibility for further education to develop skills and knowledge.
Full training will be given but experience within a production environment would be beneficial.
Hours are Monday-Thursday 8am-4pm. Friday hours are 6am-12noon.
