Production Operative – Nuneaton

Reporting into the Team Leader, this role is to support the Team Leader in the efficient running of the department by meeting job timescales and demands, whilst completing jobs to the highest of standards.

Responsibilities:

• Preparation of metallic plates for bond process, application of film adhesive, assembly of plates using designated jigs, placement in oven, monitoring of cure times.
• Performing air test on bonded plates using specialist test equipment.
• Cleaning off excess glue using appropriate electrical tools.
• Keep all equipment maintained.
• Ensure the working area is kept clean and tidy on a daily basis.

About you:

• Ideally familiar with composites or engineering working environments.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy levels.
• Ability to follow procedures and work instructions / manuals.
• Good verbal communication and listening skills.
• Ability to work to work on their own or within a team, meet tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
• Used to working in a fast moving environment.

Full time, permanent role. 37 hours per week – 7.30am to 4.00pm Mon to Thurs, 7.30am to 12.30pm Friday

£28,282.8 per annum
