Production Operative

Salary: £26,000 per year

A Production Operative is required for a market-leading producer of Food Goods in the York area. The candidate will be required to carry out all duties associated with packing and production and will be based at the companies site on the outskirts of York.

Commutable by car from York, Harrogate, Boroughbridge, Ripon, Tadcaster and Easingwold!

The requirements of this role will involve all elements of Packing and Production of Meat products, as well as assisting with both the Hygiene and Warehouse teams, to assist with the mincing and forming process as well as ensure any industrial-scale spills or hazards are appropriately dealt with in the production area.

You will be reporting in to the production manager for this role

The working hours for this role are 6am-2pm/2pm-10pm rotating shifts Monday to Friday which offers a really great work-life balance for someone that is wanting to come away from a mixture of Days & Nights roles.

This is a very varied role with a genuinely great local employer and will be a great role for someone who is looking to move away from a 0-hours contract role, for example.

This is a genuine temporary to permanent role, Salary: £26,000per year with paid breaks, with overtime after 40hrs being paid at £26,000 per year. For working rotating shifts, you will receive a £26,000 per year increment when working the 2pm-10pm cycle, taking your rate to £26,000 per year

This averages out at £26,000 per year with paid breaks!
