Production Operative

Salary: £13.6 per hour

Quest Employment are pleased to be recruiting for a very well-known Bakery based on Genner Road in Corby. This business is looking for Production Operatives to join their team on an on-going basis with temporary to permanent opportunities. This would be on a continental shift basis of 4 on 4 off, working both day and nights. These shifts will be 12 hours and work on a 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am pattern.

Pay rates start at £13.6and increase to £12.67 dependent on skill set and training opportunities.

We are looking for operatives within 3 different departments – mixing, slice & wrap and dispatch. Each of these positions holds their individual set of responsibilities and tasks but will include working as part of a team to ensure production is on time and all targets are met.

You will be –

• Expected to work with speed and efficiency and within agreed specifications and targets
• Expected to check quality throughout
• Responsible for ensuring all Health and Safety checks are completed
• Moving stock in dispatch for stock rotation, checking stock, loading stock onto vehicles and checking all labels

The ideal candidate must –

• Have a good understanding of English written and spoken
• Have a positive can-do attitude towards work
• Be able to work well within a team
• Be able to stick to tight deadlines and targets
• Have good timekeeping
• Have a willingness to learn
