Production Engineer (Manufacturing/TIG welding)
£33,600 – £36,000 + Life insurance + Profit Related Pay + Contributory Pension scheme.

Production/ Manufacturing Engineer required for leading manufacturer who are market leaders in Europe with over 30 + years industry experience.

To apply for this role you will come from a production/manufacturing background. The successful candidate will have knowledge of JIG design, fabrication and welding.
The role itself sits within a high volume, low lead time manufacturing facility. The successful candidate will play a key part in helping the business achieve its objective to improve its production processes. The role will involve reviewing production processes, implementing and improving production jigs and conducting quality checks. The company is looking to take the manufacturing facility from purely manual to semi-automatic in an attempt to optimize efficiency and reduce installation and manufacturing time.
You will work closely with staff on the shop floor. Specifically focusing on improving cellular assembly processes, workstation design and visual control systems to provide accurate report of factory order status.
