Salary: £33,600 – £36,000 per year

Our client is a bespoke design studio and workshop producing unique, custom made designs in-house. They take great pride in delivering high quality of pieces and hand finishes produced by our team of expert skilled designers and onsite crafts people.

Job overview:

We are recruiting for a Production Controller to regulate and control the various operations of the production process in such a way that material is always flowing correctly at different stages of the production, all items are produced of right quality in right quantity and are where they need to be at the right time.

This will include,

*liaison between different key people in the business, you will be responsible for four team leaders and you will sit between them and the production Manager.
*Ensure a seamless production flow between different area of the business.
*Maintain a high quality standard across the whole business
*Managing and motivating the teams.
*Quality control and health and Safety.

Person Profile/Experience:

*Experience of scheduling and planning.
*A task orientated attitude who is also approachable.
*Fluent spoken and written English.
*Experience of managing a small team and able to demonstrate a high level of business acumen and process management / problem solving. (1-2 years’ experience is desirable).
*ideally but not necessary. 1-year experience in the lighting/design manufacture or luxury goods industry.
*Experience of managing subcontractors and schedule monitoring.
*Ability to operate effectively in the workshop environment.
*Need to be able to use / interpret CAD outputs/drawings (desirable)
Qualifications:

*Qualifications in materials science/technology/design and or manufacturing ideal,
