Product Test Technician

Salary: £33,600 – £38,400 per year

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently working with a specialist manufacturing company, part of a global group, who are looking for a Product Test Technician.

The company design and manufacture specialist assembled products supplied into major global clients and projects.

This role will be to carry out testing of prototypes in support of product development.

The Product Test Technician will be responsible for:
– Testing product assemblies at prototyping stage of development
– Ensuring design concepts are fit for purpose and can be manufactured
– Providing recommendations for improvements or adjustments to design
– Carrying out concept demonstrations internally and externally
– Managing the maintenance of the calibration test instrumentation

The Product Test Technician will need:
– An appropriate qualification in a mechanical engineering discipline
– Experience of carrying out product performance testing
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills
– A desire to learn and develop in the role
