An excellent opportunity has arisen for a of proven ability to join the expanding Marine Product Team within a leading International OEM.

My client is well established within the Marine and Offshore markets and the successful Product Engineer will have an existing work load to include specifying complete packages which will include propriety engines and generators along with 3rd party equipment for the commercial marine vessels and clients. This role involves design, specification and project management. Exposure to Marine Mechanical systems is desirable.

This Product Engineer opportunity includes liaising with Clients, in house design personnel, workshop and commissioning engineers, Classification societies and 3rd party OEM`s essential seeing the product package from conception through to completion. This role will cover Mechanical issues along with electrical ones.

Any Marine Mechanical Engineer with broad proven ability spanning engines, generators, marine propulsion and marine system design should.

This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer from a shipyard or marine consultancy background looking to branch out or a plan approval engineer or surveyor from a classification background looking to get into design and project management.

This position is based in the Midlands, United Kingdom.
