Product Support Advisor

Salary: £27,600 per year

CareCo are looking for an experienced individual to join our Product Support Team!

In this role, you will be liaising with customers directly over the telephone to discuss any queries or issues they may be experiencing with one of our products.

This position requires someone with excellent customer services skills, ideally who has worked in a call centre environment before and enjoys problem solving over the telephone whilst providing the best service as possible for our customers!

What are my responsibilities?

• To speak directly with our customers over the telephone and email, diagnosing any issues they are experiencing with their product
• Identifying the best procedure to follow based on the information provided by the customer (booking an engineer visit, returning the product, etc.)
• Raising purchase orders & taking payments over the phone
• Following up with the customers, ensuring the process is being followed from start to finish
• Adding relevant notes on customers accounts as and when necessary
• Ensuring customer technical queries are answered in a timely manner and with care
• Discussing raised issues with in-house & third-party engineers where necessary to best identify how to service our customers

What skills are required?

• Excellent customer service skills when speaking with people over the telephone
• Ability to problem solve and seek answers you may not necessarily know of the top of your head (we have plenty of knowledge within the company to utilise!)
• Good written and verbal communication – ability to actively listen is imperative
• Ability to work independently and as a Team, when necessary, with a can-do, proactive attitude
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
