Product Marketing Manager – Exciting Opportunity

Bridgewater Resources UK is recruiting for a group of market-leading businesses supplying a wide range of electrical equipment to business and trade customers. Their Head Office in Luton requires a Product Marketing Manager.

This will involve the effective planning and delivery of various promotional campaigns using advertising, direct mail, and web-based mediums to increase sales and maintain the market leading position of the company. In this varied and exciting role you will be responsible for:

Managing the full product lifecycle of multiple product ranges.
Devising and updating the strategic and operating marketing plan.
Project managing vendor marketing campaigns.
Managing the design, production, and distribution processes associated with effective product launches and marketing communications.
Developing the sales tools required to enable the sales team to fulfil their role.
Involvement in strategic company projects looking at range expansion/ discontinuation.
Project managing marketing projects to completion.
Producing/reviewing detailed pricing management spreadsheets to analyse margin and ROI.
Analysing product performance.
Analysing sales forecasts and developing the business plans.
Leading the marketing team.

The ideal candidate will be a good communicator both written and verbal with excellent attention to detail and great organisation skills. Good numeracy and analytical skills as well as appreciation of full product cycle and marketing mix are essential. We are looking for candidates with a strong product management background and experience in managing marketing activities. Knowledge of MS Office with good Excel skills is required. Experience with graphic design (ideally using a Mac) would be an advantage. There are excellent opportunities for career progression within the company and the group.

The starting salary is £42,000 – £48,000 per annum, increasing with experience. This will be supplemented by an annual bonus and optional membership of the company pension scheme.
