Product Controller

The Treasury Business Control (TBC) team require a product controller/ business controller to join their team. The team is responsible for supporting the Money Markets businesses in the delivery of their strategic aims, the efficient accounting of and control over the various transactions undertaken across the department and the delivery of insightful management information to senior executives.

WHATS ON OFFER:

RATE: £540 – £588 PER DAY
LOCATION: LONDON
CONTRACT: 6 MONTHS

Responsibilities:

* 2 Money Market Trading p&ls which involve understanding of p&l attribution and Bid/Offer spread calculations
* Open Exchange Positions (OEP) reporting
* P&L referral limits monitoring for the Sales & Trading function
* Reporting of several International P&Ls which involves a consolidation exercise and an understanding of market drivers for management commentary
* New Deals reporting
* Involvement in new products discussions
* Helping the business grow and supporting our business partners in the execution of their duties.

Skills/ Qualifications

* A Self motivated individual / results driven with the ability to manage multiple high priority tasks and deliver accurately to tight deadlines.

* Money Market products knowledge (understanding the products and their booking and accounting) of bonds, loans and deposits, interest rate and currency swaps, swaptions, call and current accounts, nostros and any other money market related derivatives trading. FX revaluation knowledge would be an advantage.

* An excellent understanding of the balance sheet and the relationship with the Profit and loss accounts.

* Making Change happen.
