Procurement Manager-Wednesday – Friday 19 Hrs

Pursuit Recruitment are looking for a Procurement Manager to do a job share working 19 hours a week working Wednesday, Thursday and Friday reporting to the Director of Rescources.

The main purpose of the job is as follows:

Develop, negotiate and lead on securing high quality contracts for service delivery, including organising the preparation of tender documents and analysis of responses;
To ensure that processes adhere to internal Procurement Policy and external regulations;
To ensure there are appropriate processes and systems in place to achieve Value For Money (VFM) and continuous improvement for internal and external customers / clients;
To identify efficiencies that can be obtained through procurement without compromising quality;
Managing the procurement strategy, policy and process within the company;
Achieving improvement in procurement efficiency;
Advising internal clients on all aspects of procurement;
Providing excellent information and legal guidance on procurement and contract management;
Providing expert advice to Best Value Reviews.

Qualifications Required

Degree in Business or technical subject;
