Procurement Manager

Salary: £42,000 – £48,000 per year

We are currently looking for a Procurement Manager to join a unique business just South of Manchester, renowned for supplying exceptional washroom fittings to the construction industry.

Procurement Manager – key responsibilities:

• Dayto-day purchasing for all products
• Allocation of stock to orders
• Proactively purchasing stock to ensure popular products never run out
• Using SAGE 50 and reporting knowledge within the software
• Keeping product codes up to date on SAGE and ensuring key information is always present
• Keeping on top of suppliers to ensure the business is always receiving optimum levels of service
• Providing lead times for project work
• Dispatching of orders and creation of invoices where required

Procurement Manager – qualifications, skills and experience:

• Proven experience within a procurement role. Experience within construction, joinery, washrooms or other specialist interior packages (drylining, M&E etc) would be great but is not a deal breaker
• Highly personable with the ability to forge longlasting and successful working relationships with suppliers and customers
• Ability to work as part of a team to arrive at the best solutions/working methods
• Product approval/certification experience would be advantageous
• Selfmotivated and driven
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
