About The Role
We are looking for a commercially-savvy and detail-oriented Privacy Manager who puts data protection and privacy at the heart of everything we do. You will be working in to the Director of the Legal team, you will contribute to solving their key challenges of developing the legal infrastructure and creatively issue spotting as we expand into new ventures.
Your mission
* Monitoring the business’ compliance with data protection law and its privacy framework
* Ensuring data subject access requests are dealt with promptly and in compliance with data protection law
* Fostering privacy culture across the organisation
* Developing and embedding templates, patterns, guidance and processes with the objective of continuous improvements of privacy controls
From day one in this role, we’ll expect you to have
* A minimum of 5 years of experience in a privacy or data protection role
* A strong understanding of global privacy landscape in technology, healthcare and life sciences
* Experience in drafting data processing terms, compliance policies and standards
It’s great, but not required, if you have
* Previous experience in digital health
* A privacy or risk management qualification, e.g. CIPP/E or similar
