Principal Engineer, Test & Validation (Electronics Sub Systems):

International Defence Organisation based in Stevenage, Hertfordshire is currently looking to recruit a Principal Engineer, Test & Validation (Electronics Sub Systems).

Please Note: you must be eligible for SC (Secret Level) Security Clearance.

Test & Validation (Electronics Sub Systems) Job Description:

To undertake Test, Validation and Certification activities for electronic project sub-systems

Skills & Experience:

• Likely to be Degree qualified, or equivalent, in Electronics or related subject
• Will have significant experience of product design, test and certification
• Use of DOORS requirements verification tool
• Ability to work together with project teams and also in the international environment

Role Duties:

Perform the following activities for specific project equipment:

Within the domain of Design Verification & Certification:

• Produce Equipment Proving Strategies and Design Verification Plans including work schedules
• Assessment of evidence and production of design statements for the creation of Compliance Matrices and Certificates of Design
• Review and interpretation of Technical Requirements, identifying and raising Non-Compliance Statements
• Analysis of equipment build standards, non-conformances and non-compliances in support of design reconciliation

Within the domain of Equipment Test:

• Preparation of test requirements documentation, including Development activities test documents
• Participation in the defining, preparing, performing and reporting of Environmental and EMC trials
• Development of test aids to support Environmental and EMC trials activities
