Our client – a world- leader in the design, building, installation & operation of Oil & Gas assets – is currently looking for a number of Pressure Vessel Engineers with a strong background in Stress Analysis within the Aerospace, Oil & Gas or Power industries, to join its Engineering Analysis team on a staff basis in Leicestershire.
Successful candidates will have substantial experience in the design/analysis of Pressure Vessels and will have significant technical knowledge of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques, ideally gained within the Aerospace, Oil & Gas or Power industries. You will also be degree qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline (e.g. Mechanical, Aerospace) and those who have achieved, or are working towards, Chartered status, are highly desired. Experience within a Senior/ Team Lead position is also highly beneficial.
Working on a number of elite projects within the Oil & Gas sector, your main responsibilities will include:
Performing Finite Element Analysis work
Conducting fitness for service assessments of Pipework, Pipelines and Pressure Vessels
Pipeline Integrity assessments
Fatigue/ fracture mechanics assessmentsKey Candidate requirements:
Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline (Essential)
Substantial experience in the design/ analysis of Pressure Vessel (Essential)
A strong background of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques (Essential)
Previous experience working within a Design or Analysis team in either the Aerospace, Oil & Gas, Power, or other relevant sector (Essential)
Experience within a Senior/ Team Lead position (Desired)
