Are you a Project Engineer/Manager from a press tooling background and looking to work within a leading automotive supplier that will offer you a clear route of progression into senior projects manager.

Here is an opportunity for an individual to join a business that values itself on continuously evolving through large investment projects whilst offering its management team lots of autonomy.

Established over 70 years ago, this Gloucester based company specialise in the manufacture of components which are supplied into the automotive industry. Known as market leaders, they are at the beginning stages of a large investment project valued close to 7 million which is aimed at new installations and new lines. As a result of this, they are looking for project engineers and managers to double the size of the team.

As a Press Tooling Project Manager, you will be responsible to manage and introduce new press part products through the use of cross functional team principles in support of wider new model project introductions. A key element of the role is the ability to manage multiple press tolling projects from concept to production, liaising with Pan European and Far East Toolmakers, Die Designers, Pattern Makers and in house die making teams to achieve overall project timings and cost targets. This role will involve travel 1-2 times a week to customer sites as well as occasional international travel to Europe, and the Far East.
