Job Title: Press Operative
Location: Ongar, Essex
Salary: £33,600 – £42,000p/a DOE
Hours: Flexible working hours, 40-48 hours per week
Contract Type: Full time, permanent
Sector: Manufacturing & Logistics
Our client based in Ongar, Essex is looking for a Press Operative to join their team on a permanent basis.
As Press Operative your duties will include:
- Operating presses to print jobs efficiently
- Setting up jobs using print cylinders, magnetic cylinders and die cutters
- Mixing Inks, colour matching and loading material
- Inputting data into MIS, including material consumptions and clocking data
- Adhoc tasks when required.
An ideal candidate for the Press Operative role will have:
- Experience with a Digicon (Preferable)
- Experience with Flexo Print
- Experience using Printing Presses
- Able to work under pressure due to tight deadlines
- Excellent communication skills.
