A variety of exciting opportunities has arisen for Wood Press Operatives to join the biggest door manufacturer in Birmingham, working 12 hour night shifts, plenty of overtime and permanent full-time work.
The role of a Wood Press Operative is offered on temporary to ongoing basis, potentially leading to permanent positions. We are currently seeking a variety of candidates with the following skills and experience.
As a Wood Press Operative your duties will include:
* Working within a busy Industrial / Production environment
* Pressing vinyl onto doors
* Beam Saw Operating
* CNC Work
* Edge Banding/Sanding machine Operating/Chop saw operating
As a Wood Press Operative, you will have the following skills and experience:
* Experience working with Wood / fire door industry
* Beamsaw/Chop saw experience
* Experience with either Italpresse or Biesse machines
* CNC Experience
* Manual handling experience and okay with heavy lifting
* Good verbal and written communication skills
* Self-starter and a willingness to learn
As a Wood Press Operative you will be expected to work Monday to Thursday 6pm-6am. Overtime on Friday and Saturday. You will receive a payment of £26,000. This Salary: can be varied based of experience & qualifications
