Pre-Sales Consultant with Accountancy Background

Pre-Sales Consultant with experience in demoing and presenting accounting software solutions and a background in accountancy, QBE or CIMA, ACCA qualified. The role is based in Central London near Bond Street with an excellent package – base salary to £84,000+ mileage, laptop, mobile, and commission OTE £85k. An accounting qualification or considerable experience of accounting is essential.

This is a leading UK software consulting firm who are authors of their own sophisticated financial accounting software (which has won a number of awards) which sells into a variety of specialist vertical markets. They have a focused team of technical, functional and sales consultants operating in a professional environment and the company provides superb training, career progression and job satisfaction.

They are looking for a talented Pre-Sales Consultant who has experience of pre-sales and excellent presentation skills with accounting, finance and purchasing business software solutions. This is an important role in their business and it is vital that you are a good fit and that you have a broad understanding of accounting principles, a background in accounting or a qualification such as CIMA, FCA or ACCA.

You will provide pre-sales support to their sales team, assisting with invitations to tender, proposals and setting up demonstrations and presentations at a high level. Other duties will include researching hot topics in the market, building a library of demonstrations, developing pilots to help win deals, and providing top notch business solution consultancy during the pre-sales process to help with software sales.

You will be an articulate communicator, positive, professional, very friendly and personable with a passion for the benefits that their software solutions can bring to the accounting arena. You will have proven experience in creating really good presentations, presenting them to audiences at main board level and demonstrating accounting / finance software to prospects.

Easy to get on with, your knowledge of accounting and accounting software will be evident in the way it instils confidence in your clients, and builds long lasting relationships. You will be a self-starter with good attention to detail, excellent Excel and other MS Office tools, good time management and a great team player. Above all will be your desire to help the company win software deals and to succeed and be rewarded for it.

Candidate Profile:

*Implementation and Consulting skills with accounting / finance software
*Pre-Sales experience or good skills in demoing software and high level software presentations and helping to win business
*Higher education and / or accountancy qualifications
*You have implemented software solutions such as Dynamics NAV, Coda, Iris Exchequer, Sage 200, SunSystems, Agresso, Sage ERP X3, Dynamics GP, PS Financials, NetSuite, or similar
*Able to present to Board Level Executives with enthusiasm and in a compelling way
*Strong Excel and MS Office
*An understanding of databases and data
*Interested in leading edge technology and experimenting with it
*Keen to win!
