One of the UKs leading D&B fit out contractors is looking for a dynamic and hard working Pre Contracts Manager to join their London based team.
The Pre Contracts Manager role will require a self-starting professional with the ability to take responsibility for and manager the commercial success of multiple projects efficiently and effectively to the requisite standard.
Experience of working in the fast paced and extremely busy world of fast track workplace design and build will be essential to the success of the postholder, where decisions need to be made on the spot and with confidence.
Pre Contracts Manager – key responsibilities:
* Prepare budgets and cost plans at concept stage
* Issuing and obtaining tenders from suppliers and subbies
* Negotiate and prepare subcontractor / supplier terms and conditions
* Cost control during tendering and detailing stages
* Preparing and maintaining contract documentation
* Reporting
Pre Contracts Manager – qualifications, skills and experience:
* Determined, hard working and committed team player who values working closely and collaborating with colleagues to achieve the common goa;
* Proven pre contracts experience within a D&B fit out environment
* Proven commercial skills and contractual awareness
* Exceptional time management and the ability to work under pressure and to extremely tight deadlines
* Outstanding communication skills
