Practice Accountant

Salary: £45,600 – £51,600 per year

We need a Private Client Accountant (ACA / ACCA) to join this establihed, boutique, small & successful Accounts Practice in Wirral. Your role will be to complete Practice Accountancy tasks for a portfolio of Business clients but with the long term view of dealing with well established & loyal Private Clients.

Key Accounts Responsibilities:
• Statutory accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Management accounting and bookkeeping & preparation of management accounts.
• VAT & Tax returns.
• Preparation and submission of Self-Assessment Returns
• Liaising with clients, Companies House and third parties.
• Dealing with your portfolio of clients on all accounts and tax issues as required.

You must be ACA/ACCA qualified with a proven track record of Practice & technical experience in all aspects of accounts production.

Private Client experience is not essential but a desire & willingness to develop this side of your Accountancy career further is. This will include:

– Estate planning
– Trust and estate administration including tax compliance
– Substantial client interaction

You’ll be widely skilled, responsible, confident in relationship building & as it’s a small team, self-sufficient.
