Power Electronics Engineer – Converters / Motor Inverters / Battery Management Systems
A technology leading engineering company are looking for a Power Electronics Engineer to join their engineering team specialising in DC/DC converters, motor inverters and battery management systems.
This opportunity will provide the Candidate with an engineering environment in which to design, build and test power electronics systems from prototypes into production. This hands-on role will allow the candidate to be involved in all stages of development including simulating solutions and trying them out on the bench.
Experience:
• Degree in Electronics Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience of Matlab / Simulink / LabVIEW / MISRA C an advantage.
• Circuit design and simulation
• PCB design from schematics.
• Prototyping and product development on the bench.
• Product / Project documentation (e.g. design notes, bills of materials, user manuals)
• Embedded control software
• Liaison with customers and suppliers, occasionally working on customer sites with their engineers.
