Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Salary: £36,000 – £48,000 per year

They are an established plumbing and heating company with over 17 years experience within the industry. The office is located between Rotherham and Sheffield. We are looking for an engineer who takes pride in their work and going the extra mile to make sure clients are satisfied.

The ideal candidates will have a good knowledge of heating controls, wiring and heating system, fault finding and repair. Plumbing tasks as well as first and second fixing bathrooms.

In this role you will be expected to join the team carrying out servicing, maintenance and installation work for a range of domestic clients, covering South Yorkshire and surrounding areas. Must have a minimum of 5 years experience, checkable references and full, clean driving licence.

Role and Responsibilities

• Install various types of heating systems for domestic settings
• Ensure installations are in line with company standards and current regulations
• Follow and adhere to drawings and schedules
• Log information and follow schedules on App based job system
• Read and follow written and verbal instructions
• Work in a safe manner, always complying with health, safety, and environmental standards
• Record all maintenance and installation works and maintain all documentation
• Drive company vehicles according to company vehicles policy

Skills Required

• Knowledge of heating and plumbing installations and repairs
• Attention to detail 1st and 2nd fixing bathrooms
• Good reading, writing and verbal skills
• Computer literate
• Good timekeeping skills
• Good practical skills
• Be able to work independently as well as in a team
