Plumbing and Heating Engineer

Salary: £45,600 per year

Plumbing & Heating Engineer required to cover sites in and around Daventry / Coventry and West Northamptonshire area, to £38k plus van and great benefits.

Our client is a leading technical services provider who specialises in High profile Commercial Buildings Nationwide. They have been established for over 30 years and have a group turnover in excess of £250m. Due to a new contract award they are now looking for a Mobile Plumbing & Heating Engineer to service Unvented systems at a number of Student accommodation sites in the West Northamptonshire region.

Role

• Planned Maintenance on Unvented Water heaters along with some general Mechanical, Plumbing plant, undertaking reactives, PPM’s and occasional installation.
• Tap / Temp checks
• Compliance checks on general plant
• Checking / repairing sanitary ware, toilets, taps etc.
• Basic electrical fault finding

Location

Ideally located in or around Coventry / Daventry and to be able to cover sites in the West Northamptonshire region.

Experience required

• NVQ Level 2 / 3 in Plumbing & Heating or Domestic heating
• Un-Vented Hot Water (UVHW) Sealed Systems (Building Regulations Part G3)
• Additional WRAS, CCN1, Wat1 beneficial.
• Sound plumbing and Building Services Maintenance / install knowledge in particular to Unvented Hot water systems
• Basic electrical knowledge / understanding.
• Must be smart and presentable, have excellent communication skills and be client facing as you will be interacting with the clients on site and entering student accommodation on a daily basis.
• UK Driving licence
• A current DBS / or ability to pass one if required.

Salary / benefits

• Competitive basic salary up to £45,600based on 38hrs, dep on exp.
