Plumber

Salary: £39,569 per year

TXM Recruit is working in partnership with an award-winning organisation on an exciting new project in Salisbury. They are looking for an experienced Plumber to become part of an ever expanding and skilled team.

The successful candidate will represent one of the UK’s leading home assistance providers and undertake general plumbing repairs and maintenance work in our customers’ homes, leaving our customers with the peace of mind and confidence in the quality of the work undertaken. This is a permanent position, suitable for someone looking for longer term career prospect.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

• Carry out PPM tasks and record and complete relative documents.
• Carry out reactive callouts on critical systems.
• Clear communication of the company vision and objectives ensuring the implementation of new procedures.
• Keep up to date with industry developments, driving innovation and effective change.
• Effectively complete jobs using a PDA.
• Provide a quality customer service

Hours: Full Time – 40 hours a week – this includes some weekend, evening, and bank holiday work.

Company vehicle, fuel card, PPE, tools provided.

Pay: Basic starting salary of up to £39,569, rising to over £35,000 with experience gained in the role. Our salaries are reviewed annually to make sure they are competitive. £3,000 signing on bonus (This is split into two payments, £1,500 in your first payroll and £1,500 upon 12 months service)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

• Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing or similar qualification
• Full UK Driving Licence with less than 6 penalty points
• Excellent customer service skills
