An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a leading manufacturer going through an extended period of growth. This role is easily commutable from the South Yorkshire and East Midlands area.

The Role

Reporting to the UK Operations Director you will have full autonomy to manage the day to day Operations of a busy assemby plant in the Nottingham area. Key tasks are to further implement a lean manufacturing strategy with the team, in balance with consistently achieving the targets in terms of cost, quality, safety and delivery. You will manage across all Production, Engineering, Manufacturing and MPL operations. Most importantly the business needs someone with a track record of business / revenue growth and a strong grasp of managing P&L.

The Person

We are looking to recruit an experienced Operations leader for our global client, based at their Nottingham operation, who can lead, motivate and challenge a team in a highly pressurised, fast paced assembly environment. It is essential that you are from an assembly environment, ideally dealing with high volume production. Suitable industries include Tier 1/Tier 2 Automotive supply, Electrical/Electronics and high volume component assembly.

Candidates must have experience of managing full P&L. Those without this experience will not be considered.

This role will involve some real challenges in terms of managing robust teams, supporting business growth, achieving Manufacturing and Production output targets and delivery, coaching and training.Ideal candidates will be of degree calibre and qualified in engineering and manufacturing subject.
