Plant Fitter – Access Equipment

Our client area major supplier of labour into the Rail Industry and are looking for a time served experienced Plant Fitter to join the team.

You would be working under the Senior Fitter and Plant Manager.

You will be starting in the yard doing maintenance as it can take 4-6 weeks to get the Network Rail Medical and PTS (Personal Track Safety) course Done.

Candidates need experience of the following:

• Plant Fitter with experience in heavy plant ideally access equipment and a working knowledge of Hatz or Deutz engines would be beneficial.
• Must be flexible with hours as will be expected to work 3 out of every 4 Saturday nights along with midweek working.
• HGV Class 1 licence would be beneficial
• Network Rail PTS (if not we can arrange for the suitable candidate)

will be Based at the Manchester Depot but working on sites nationwide.

The role is paying between £16.8 – £18 /hr midweek and £17 on weekends. A Van & fuel card are provided.
