On Line People Ltd are currently looking for a Planning Engineer to work for one of our major clients based at their site in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. This will be a contract position for approx. 6-12 months work. Full time hours, Monday to Friday.

Pay Details: Hourly rate TBC

Scope of Work
• We require a successful candidate to work alongside program/project managers & resource managers to ensure the programs/projects are appropriately planned, resourced and reported against.
• Assist in management of project portfolio and maintenance to match capacity and capability to prioritise demand and make effective use of available resource.
• Supports & facilitates program/project managers to develop documentation including project plans, ensuring plans have a closed network, a critical path and that resource requirements have been agreed.
• Support & facilitate program/project manager to update project progress against master plan
Knowledge/Understanding/ Experience
• In depth knowledge of the concepts and principles of project planning
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP
• MS Project/Primavera, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
• Full project lifecycle process (inception to completion)
• Broad understanding of change process and project methodologies
• Matrix management of project resource
• Experience of engineering/operations.
• Experience in project accounting and finance processes.
