Physical Health Advisor – Physiotherapist

This week at Recruiting for Care, we are recruiting for a Physical Health Advisor- Physiotherapist to cover Harlow and Basildon area to support people who are back in work following a health or wellbeing issue.

The position is for Physical Health Advisor to join a large UK provider of Government Work Programme initiative which aims to assist people to find suitable and lasting employment. The role offers full autonomy for professionals who prefer to work within the community and see different clients on a daily basis. You will be joining a strong team with a wealth of bio-psychosocial experience and the opportunity for new training. We only require professionals who can take ownership of their caseload, solid time management and ability to take on new and interesting challenges each day.

As part of the role you will conduct bio-psychosocial assessments for clients and producing tailored health action plans which will focus on moving them closer to work. You will also be responsible for setting up workshops providing guidance and working alongside other health advisors to build relationships with external organisations.

In order to apply for this position, you must have the following attributes:

– Experience in a MSK setting, pain management, mental health, occupational health, vocational rehabilitation or condition management

– Experience of delivering health or wellbeing related group interventions, facilitating workshops or training sessions

– Experience in the use or good level of understanding of CBT in the context of behaviour change

– Driving licence is essential as it will require visiting patients.

This a 12month contract to cover Maternity leave.

Salary between £27,000and £29,895 depending on experience.
