The role: PHP Developer

Location: Gloucestershire

Salary: £54,000/annum & Benefits

PHP Developer required to join my Gloucestershire based client who specialise in the provision of market leading Web and Cloud based solutions, services and products.

Joining a large team focused on the development of full-stack solutions: HTML, User interfaces, PHP Front ends, robust business middle-tiers, backend systems using C# and low level service layers using a variety of skills.

The role will include but not limited to the following:

* Assist the team building customer-facing front-end control panels
* Build robust scalable future-proof frameworks
* Design with consideration to wider system architecture
* Work closely with UI and UX experts to build modern interfaces
* Perform lifecycle management activities

Experience required:

* B.Sc. Computer Science / related field / equivalent demonstrable experience
* Very strong generic coding skills (OO design, Clean Coding, Testing Techniques)
* Very strong PHP, v5.5 + associated technologies (PSR Auto-loading, Zend 2)
* Experience in delivering software solutions and architectures
* Passion for problem-solving
* Readiness to take ownership and drive resolutions
* Keen interest in emerging technologies
* Agile/SCRUM experience
