Personal Assistant / Care Worker

We are currently looking for an individual who is both reliable and responsible to act as a PA for a 17 year old young man with autism. The family are looking for someone who would be willing to encourage their son to join in within the local community at local clubs and leisure centre activities and to offer peer support and act as his role model. The young man has limited vocabulary but can make himself understood so you would need to have patience and be prepared to work with him to gain his trust.

Personal care will be required and the individual responds best to males, so a male PA is preferable.

Weekly hours are:
Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday – 3.30 – 6.30pm
Thursday 3.30-5.30pm
Friday 3.30-6.00pm

All applicants will be thoroughly screened and subject to enhanced DBS checks (Candidate to pay)
