Payroll Administrator

Salary: £30,000 – £36,000 per year

Are you a detail orientated payroll administrator with the ability to work independently? We have a temporary to permanent position available at our brand-new offices in Milton Keynes. This role offers hybrid working 1-2 days a week presenting the best of both office and home working.

The role:

Our Pay and Reward Administrator will work closely with our Payroll Manager to deliver great service and support to our growing business. You will assist the payroll and pension function whilst ensuring of compliance against policies, processes, and government legislation.

Responsibilities:

Processing of payroll, overtime, and sickness.

Creating of monthly payroll templates.

Reconciliation of the input information.

New starter checks.

Sending payslips.

Holiday calculations for leavers.

Creating P45’s.

Auto enrolment of joiners on pension.

Extracting pension reports.

Reconciling the pensions for payments.

Administration of third-party payments.

Assisting the team in the payroll journals.

P9 imports.

Assisting in HR instructions.

Managing inbox and other ad hoc administrative duties.

Desirable qualifications and experience:

• Payroll/ Pensions knowledge or training.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and payroll software programs.
• Knowledge of ResourceLink beneficial.
• Strong numerical aptitude and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Working knowledge of relevant legal regulations.
• Good time management and organisational skills.
• Able to prioritise and multitask effectively.
