Part Time Support Worker
Job Description
We are looking for a support worker to support and take care of our lovely, funny and very active client who is 12 years old. The ideal candidate will need to be kind and patient with a playful nature. You will be expected to provide the following: support at home and when visiting the community, support in play activities, support to spend quality time with the clients family, liaise with the therapy team to promote, physical and communication needs, completing activities of daily living, personal care.
You must have previous experience of working with a child with complex needs and it will be advantageous, but not essential if you have previously worked with a client in their own home.
Applicants must have a full driving licence and will be expected to drive the clients vehicle.
Hours of work
- 25 per week
Rates of Pay
- Weekday £16.00 per hour
- Weekend £16.50 per hour
- Bank Holiday £16.50 per hour.
Due to the nature of the role an enhanced check with the Disclosure and Barring Service will be required.
