2 x Part time Medical Administrators, Norwich
Immediate start – 12 months maternity cover
£26,000 per year, free parking available onsite
Hours of work:-
24 hours per week
Monday 8am – 1pm
Tuesday 8am – 1pm
Wednesday 8am – 1pm
Friday 8am – 6pm

28 hours per week
Tuesday 8am – 6pm
Wednesday 8am – 1pm
Thursday 8am – 1pm
Friday 8am – 6pm

My client is seeking 2 x Part time Administrators with immediate effect for a period of 12 months Maternity leave. This is a multi role that combines Administration and Reception duties in one within their busy Medical Practice. The administration will be a large part of the role as you will be predominately working within the office then progressing to covering Reception when required.
Administration Duties:-
• Answering all incoming telephone calls, diverting to relevant persons where appropriate
• Maintaining patients medical records
• Registering new patients
• Ensuring all relevant databases are maintained and updated
• Photocopying of notes and other information
• To send letters to patients as necessary
• Dealing with all incoming and outgoing patient notes

Reception Duties:-
• Greeting patients into the surgery
• Making appointments
• Dealing with patient enquiries efficiently and courteously
• Answering incoming calls into the surgery
• Filing prescriptions for collection
• Liaising with relevant departments and staff within the surgery and third parties where necessary

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with sensitive information and following strict guidelines ensuring regulations are adhered to at all times.
