Part Qualified Management Accountant

My client is looking for a part qualified Management Accountant to help drive the company forward. This is a great company to work for in an ever growing industry. This would be a real opportunity for hands on experience and career progression.
Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities
• To process accruals, prepayments, intercompany recharges, investigate any major variances.
• To conduct ad hoc projects as agreed with the Group Accounting Manager.
• Take ownership and prepare and present Monthly Management Accounts with Commentary
• Carry out analysis on Management Accounts
• Carry out monthly balance sheet reconciliation
• Preparation of VAT and CIS returns
• Preparation of year-end accounts and external audit
• Cash flow forecast
• Prepare and present Financial Analysis
• Assist and oversee the AP and AR where required
• Prepare the weekly Finance Report with commentary
• Manage the financial reporting of on-going construction projects
• Work closely with the Operations Department to ensure timely applications of projects
• Financial Analysis and appraisals of all projects
• Manage application and certifications of large projects
• Maintaining and reporting profitability and cash flow for all projects

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

• Proven experience in a similar role
• Good analytical skills
• Attention to detail
• Good communication skills
• Part qualified ACCA / CIMA
• Ability to work alone and as part of a Team

A solid back ground in accountancy with a clear understanding of everything from debts, credits and double entry book keeping.
