Salary: £30,000 – £42,000 per year

We are currently representing a talented, award-winning practice based in Kettering that are actively looking for a Part II Architectural Assistant / Newly Qualified Architect to join their team. This is an excellent career opportunity for a Part II Architectural Assistant / Newly Qualified Architect to build and develop their career further within an inspiring, well-established practice.

The Part II Architectural Assistant / Newly Qualified Architect will be working on a wide range of projects across a range of sectors, and will always have work on the go. Key sectors include Industrial, Commercial and Education. The practice also occasionally work within the Residential, Healthcare and Heritage sectors. Projects will vary from small alterations to large multi-million pound developments. The successful individual will be working as part of the team and independently within the practice, taking projects from planning drawings all the way through to completion stages.

Our client works on multi-million-pound projects and a large proportion of their workload is through recommendation or repeat business, which is why they pride themselves on their outstanding work. The office use Revit as a primary software so knowledge of the software is advantageous, however former use of any 3D software would be acceptable.

Part II Architectural Assistant / Newly Qualified Architect Position Overview

• Prepare and present feasible reports and design proposals to clients
• Advise on the nature and quality of materials needed
• Control projects from start to finish
• Resolve any issues or problems that arise during construction
• Work as part of a team on exciting projects in a range of sectors
• Produce planning details
• Produce planning submissions

Part II Architectural Assistant / Newly Qualified Architect Position Requirements

• Bachelors/Masters in Architecture or ARB Architect
• Able to work on projects from inception to completion (RIBA stages 0-7).
• Experience in preparing planning and working drawing construction packages
• Good knowledge of UK building regulations, planning policy and quality standards.
• Strong communication skills
• Proficient in Revit or other 3D BIM software i.e. ArchiCAD or Vectorworks
