Newly Qualified & Exp Rgn’s – Ward – F / T & South Bucks

Our client, a prestigious national private healthcare group, urgently requires a Registered General Nurse to join their Nursing Team.

Please note the Hospital will consider newly qualified and experienced Nurses for this role.

The Hospital comprises of 66 beds, a high dependency unit, 3 operating theatres, 3 anaesthetic rooms and a CSSD unit. Successful applicants will be afforded the opportunity to develop their clinical skills/experience with a progressive, supportive employer within the private sector. This is an excellent opportunity for RGN’s to utilise their acquired knowledge across the Ward and develop their clinical skills and experience, with the support of the Senior Nurses.

Duties will include (but not be restricted to):
• Co-ordinate, plan, implement and evaluate the care of individual patients.
• Be responsible and accountable for encompassing a range of activities, which develop and encourage good practice to prevent harmful and or adverse events happening to patients’ visitors and or staff.
• Maintain safe custody, registration and administration of drugs.
• Exercise economy in the use of drugs, dressings and equipment, providing a safe and cost effective service.
• Participate in the induction of newly appointed staff.
• Work with Senior Staff to develop an environment that is conducive to continuing education and training.
• Maintain active registration with the NMC and own clinical and professional development in nursing. Attend relevant study sessions in accordance with NMC and PREP guidelines.
• Report patient, visitor and staff accidents, incidents and complaints as required.

It is essential that applicants have the following:
• RGN.
• Recent surgical experience.
• Aware of NMC Code of Conduct/Accountability.
• Basic supervisory skills.
