Paraplanner / Financial Advisor – Desk Based

Salary: £48,000 per year

Pyramid8 is delighted to be supporting a well-established, independent IFA practice, specialising in Investments & Pensions. A friendly and family run business approaching 20 years trading. They are seeking a Paraplanner or Financial Advisor, to join their established team in Castleford.

Working alongside the business owners, you will help to look after their portfolio of circa £100M for clients based nationwide. Due to their existing client base, this is not a sales focussed role, whilst there would be an expectation to act on potential leads, your portfolio will be made up of current clients and new business by referrals. They believe in supporting staff, but they do not micro-manage, you are given autonomy to organise your day and complete your tasks as you see fit. In return, you will receive a basic salary that’s in line with experience and qualifications, typically a Paraplanner with Level 4 Diploma will be circa £48,000and Chartered status circa £50K. If you are part qualified or have a desire to work within financial services, then they will fully support and fund professional qualifications and generously offer a day per year as a study day. In addition, you will receive a lucrative profit-sharing bonus scheme, which is 20% of base salary and an employer paid pension contribution of 9%. This opportunity is office based, Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, 35-hour week.
