Paraplanner

Salary: £36,000 – £54,000 per year

My client is an Independent, family-run Financial Planning firm based in ther heart of West London, providing sound financial advice to both businesses and individuals with regards to Pensions Management, Investment Management, Estate Planning and Employee Benefits.

We are urgently seeking an expoerienced and qualified career Paraplanner. 

As a Paraplanner you will be responsible for:

• The technical aspects of preparing and compiling financial planning recommendations, processing of client authorities, suitability reports and wealth management plans to completion
• Supporting the Financial Advisers in research and analysis to meet Client needs and objectives in all technical aspects of preparing and compiling financial planning recommendations
• Analysing client data and preparing cash flow modelling
• Continuous professional development to meet regulatory requirements and personal development needs
• Ensuing all supporting documentation and back office systems are maintained as per company procedures and processes.
• Compliance with the FCA rules at all times, meeting all legislative requirements, both internally and externally

As the successful candidate you will have the following skills and experience:

• Level 4 (Diploma) qualified or equivalent with a minimum of two years practical experience within the role. 
• We are also interested in talking to candidates who hold chartered status.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills within a financial services environment
• Experience within estate planning and trust work is an advantage as is dealing with defined benefits schemes

This role is ideal for a candidate who is looking to continue their career within the paraplanning environment not someone who is looking to move into the sales / IFA environment.
