Paint Sprayer

Salary: £20.17 per hour

We are seeking an experienced Paint Sprayer for our Client based in Consett, County Durham are a market leading manufacturer of metal components. Due to exceptional business demand, they currently have an excellent opportunity for a Paint Sprayer to join their business, initially on a Temporary basis with a view to progressing to Permanent employment during the initial 12 months. Offering an excellent hourly rate of £20.17 inclusive of shift allowance, the successful Paint Sprayer will be working a continental shift pattern that averages 42.16 hour per week and which provides a regular break of 7 days.

Duties for the Paint Sprayer Role:

• Ensure all paint materials are mixed correctly for colour and consistency and recorded for
• Prepare pre-treated aluminium
• Apply primer / topcoats to work instruction sheets
• Setting up spray paint equipment
• Prepare surfaces to be covered
• Quality check all finished jobs
• Clean and maintain all spray paint equipment, spray booths and associated equipment.

The Ideal Paint Sprayer Candidate Will:

• Have previous spray painting experience
• Produce quality finish to painted components
• Have excellent attention to detail
• Able to apply good practical skills and follow written instructions
• Ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team
• Able to work safely in line with company safety standards
• Excellent hand-to-eye coordination
• Be Computer literate
